Description:
Candidate supports production and delivery of Private Label items globally. He or she will partner with GPSQC, Logistics, MP&A, International Merchants, Creative Services, Brand Marketing, Finance, Regional Product Teams and Production Management counterparts in Shenzhen.
The Assistant Manager of Production Management will assist in ensuring the team delivers on the commitments made by the Global Merchants.
Milestone Tracking and Management Visibility. Run the Work In Progress (WIP) Report and track items related to Item Setup and JSF completion.
Assist in compiling and identifying issues that potentially impact on the business and escalate to manager Purchase Order and PO Change Management.
Assist in driving PO Writing and PO Change Management Compliance Disciplines by monitoring APLL PO Tracking tool and updating Manager with any potential issues.
Assist Manager in providing support to Shenzhen PM team by contacting Brand Marketing, MP&A, Merchants and other teams as appropriate to facilitate timely resolution to issues.
Compile data for aggregate reporting on regular basis. Track PO Writing progress vs. Forecast Item, Inventory and Market Analysis. Assist in preparing and collecting data for Item Performance reporting.
Monitor promotional calendars in respect to inventory levels and call out potential issues to Manager. Maintain an amortization tracking workbook. Ensure it is updated with ongoing volume of business Item Introduction and Set-up Management.
Monitor item setup in all markets, assist where appropriate and report issues to Manager.
Monitor Vendor Item Setup (EDQ) using EDQ Dashboard reporting to ensure items are set up accurately and timely, assisting where necessary Vendor Management.
Assist with new vendor on-boarding by engaging and following up with other departments as needed.
Assist Manager in Level 2 support for vendor issues and driving compliance by monitoring and responding to emails and engaging other departments as needed see timely resolution.
Track and monitor GSV, PLI and other certifications by utilizing tools like APLL PO Tracking tools and escalate issues to Manager that might impact shipments.
Responsible for escalating quality control issues to GPSQC team for domestic items and acting as a partner for similar issues for foreign items. Financial Accountability. Assist Manager with yearly department budget.
