Description:

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Mandatory:

This position is to be the primary technical Point of Contact for Sniper upgrades and revisions to an aircraft interface on US Air Force contracts. The individual will receive customer requests; analyze, develop, test, and verify modified requirements on the Sniper pod; support testing of the changes at the customer domestic Systems Integration Lab (SIL) and on aircraft Ground and Flight tests where applicable. High levels of autonomy are expected once the individual is trained and understands contact points and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

Individual must have an ability to travel domestically for 3-5 trips per year, each being 3-5 days in length.

Individual must have ability to move hardware weighing less than a one-person lift, typically 5-12 lbs, to insert into pod and test.

Individual must have willingness to interleave assignments to accomplish goals between documentation, collaboration, hardware movement, pod testing, and customer delivery.

Individual must possess the capability to express US College level English writing and speaking skills to prepare training, communication, and present to pilots and program management as necessary.

Individual will need to possess a Secret clearance
