Description:

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.

Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

Mandatory:

Position for a Systems Integration Lead in the Fire Control Advanced Programs area supporting the Modular Active Protection System (MAPS) program effort which includes contracts, IRAD, and Capital efforts. Candidate responsible for System Integration Lab development, integration of hardware, firmware, and software in support of MAPS activities including Interface Control Document generation/maintenance, test plans and procedure development, test readiness reviews, limited qualification of processing hardware, and live-fire field test support.

Integration Lead will be responsible for the team''s progress toward the MAPS contract and IRAD objectives. The task will require interface and coordination across multiple functions within the organizations.

Task is in support of two current contracts with associated IRAD and Capital plans currently funded through December 2017.

Ideal candidate must be experienced in OOA/OOD, SysML, System Safety, Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Data Modelling, System Test Planning / Execution, as well as Hardware/Software integration experience. Excellent communication/presentation skills required for customer interaction.

Candidate must be able to perform full-lifecycle CMM-I Level 3 engineering to include requirements analysis, design, and integration of the developed solution in a product line development and integrated product team (IPT) environment.

Candidate must also be able to maintain a Secret DOD security clearance

The Candidate must have a DoD Secret Level Clearance.

Candidate must have proven ability to work independently and multi-task.

Candidates must also have excellent writing skills, strong oral communication and presentation skills, familiar with MFC Product Development and proposal processes.
