Job Description: For the network remediation project work at every site: • Prepare detailed technical voice configuration change plans for each site, provide troubleshooting for the voice network during change activities, represent the impact of routing/switching changes on voice services • Provide remote and onsite technical assistance (level-3 or higher) related to network activities in the project In general: • Able to configure networking hardware at the command line • Support, configure and manage Cisco Call Manager, Unity 9x, Contact Center 9x • Able to learn new environments and communicate complex and technical networking ideas and concepts • Understand network security best practices and how they apply to existing and planned configurations • Able to peer-review other network engineers'' plans and proposals • Accessible during off-hours (remote support) • Troubleshooting skills in routing, switching, VOIP, T1, PRI, and analog lines • Strong problem solving and analytic skills to isolate problems, recommend solutions and implement solutions • Experience with Signaling Protocol - SIP, H.323, SCCP beneficial • Experienced in SIP trunk deployment and support beneficial • Experience in LAN and WAN QOS design and configurations beneficial • Experience with DNS , DHCP, relating to Cisco IP phones
