Description:
Play a key role in ensuring the implementation of the new finance organization and the capability development program in Client''s Finance happens smoothly and it achieves the desired benefits.
They will ensure the program achieves its objectives by supporting employees through the changes in their roles and capability development.
The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management strategies and plans that maximize employee engagement in the new organization and minimize resistance to the changes.
Work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact employees in the organization to increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.
While the Change Manager does not have supervisory responsibility, this person will have to work through many others in the organization to succeed.
The Change Manager will act as a coach for senior leaders and executives in helping them fulfil the role of change sponsor and develop existing employees to manage change more effectively.
Manager, Change Management manages and supports the execution of change management processes across Finance. Responsible for timely and effective delivery of change projects.
Conducts change efforts across Finance by developing and leading communication and change activities.
Reports to the Director, CMO, and is responsible for the integration and delivery of change within Finance.
Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.
Supports and enables the adoption of change processes across finance through establishing change communications and plans.
Establishes change activities through the review of project scope, identification of group impact and comparison of current change sustainability within the organization.
Responsible for supporting cultural change and adoption by developing change metrics and evaluating the level of change adoption in finance.
Partners with stakeholder(s) undergoing organizational change to develop stakeholder strategy, milestones and outcomes.
Designs and delivers change communications and training to provide leadership with the ability to champion change.
Models potential financial performance and employee impact of change initiatives and shares findings with Director, CMO and VP, Finance Excellence.
Identifies and escalates project risks, financial risks and employee resistance; partners with Director, CMO to develop change activities to mitigate risks and gain alignment with Finance leaders.
Creates change management communications and documents processes to ensure adherence to internal control guidelines.
Leverages knowledge of finance processes to provide guidance and feedback when developing project plans.
Establishes change adoption metrics to measure effectiveness of change within project.
Reviews and makes change methodology recommendations, applying feedback from lessons learned. Identify and manage anticipated resistance.
Consult and coach project teams and employees new to change management. Track and report issues.

Knowledge and Experience:
Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal. Excellent active listening skills. Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree preferred with a minimum of 7 years in change management, project management roles with some finance experience.
Knowledge of finance processes to provide guidance and feedback when developing change management project plans.
Demonstrated ability to drive projects across a complex finance organization. Background in utility service business activities and projects.
Proven experience managing risks and issues across projects and programs. Effective collaboration and partnership capabilities. Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Excellent written / oral communication skills, follow-up, and negotiation skills. Ability to build and develop teams of multi-skilled financial professional.
