Our client, a global Medical technology corporation serving Healthcare industry & technologies, seeks an accomplished Purchasing Coordinator.

Purchasing is responsible for managing supplier relations at a tactical level, may negotiate product cost, and utilizing terms and conditions, working with internal customers to reduce product cost, improve the supply chain and evaluate supplier performance, and executing purchase orders and manages raw material inventory.
Utilizes technology and software to perform assigned purchasing tasks. Enters, tracks and reports purchasing transactions. Processes requests and escalates as necessary.
Communicates effectively to suppliers and customers within purchasing policies. Typically is vocationally qualified with limited work experience. Develops knowledge and skills in basic practices and procedures within own area.
Applies basic technical skills and knowledge to complete assigned work. Works on straightforward tasks using established procedures; work is subject to review by others. Depends on others for instruction, guidance and direction.
Manages small to medium size projects. Develops and manages project and program budget, scope, and schedule and tracks earned value. Demonstrates understanding of and identifies project interdependencies.
Facilitates identification of project risk and documents and manages mitigation plans. Advises project managers or stakeholders of status and risks. Ensures that project deliverables are completed, approved, and retained in a common repository.
Procures all products, resources and materials necessary to successfully complete the project. Has developed knowledge and skills in own job family; still acquiring / expanding fundamental knowledge and higher-level skills.
Applies knowledge and skills to a variety of standard activities. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Must Have:
Purchasing experience. Demonstrates basic knowledge of purchasing fundamentals.
Accounts Payable experience.
Excel/Computer Skills.

Nice to Have:
SAP Knowledge.
Project Management.
Regulatory experience.
Kanban experience.
International/Domestic Logistics experience.
Entry Level experience 1-2 years.
Jr. Buyer.
