Our client, one of world’s largest manufacturers of medium & heavy-duty Trucks and Diesel engines, seeks an accomplished Enterprise Architect.

Note: Must be open to Contract to Hire. Must be able to work in US without requiring sponsorship.

Responsible for technical architecture design, physical design, technology strategy, and will play a key role in engaging many parts of the information technology staff and peers to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
Provide input into the technology (IT) plan for the organization, and ensures that plans for their assigned applications integrate effectively with other aspects of the enterprise architecture.
Produce documented application frameworks and architecture. Experience in utilizing TOGAF as a framework for these documents is desirable. Certification in TOGAF would be a plus.
Conform to system architecture standards and practices and work with outsourced suppliers as required to keep up to date with enabling technologies.
Advise management on application and supporting technology purchases and on future projects or environment upgrades/modifications.
Design and implementation of assigned application areas, which supports client and/or business objectives and plans.

Past experience in leading improvement efforts with one or more of these functional areas:
Sales management (lead/opportunity to quote) for internal sales teams and dealer networks. Past experience in architecting complex sales configuration tools and order management applications (quote to order) for heavy equipment manufacturers.
Demand forecasting/sales and operations planning related to manufacturing and service parts. Past experience in supporting RFQ to Contract and Supply Chain Planning processes and supplier portals.
Customer/dealer support, repair management and warranty lifecycle (standard warranty, extended service contracts, warranty claims processing, supplier recovery Past experience specifically in the heavy equipment industry preferred.
Financial modules of ERPs and Financial Reporting/Performance Management Systems (Hyperion
Product development from idea to launch. Past experience in the heavy equipment industry and specifically Siemens Teamcenter is preferred.
Manufacturing and assembly plant planning, operations and optimization. Past experience with Infor ERP LN and Baan is preferred.
