Job Title: Middleware Administrator
Location: Jersey City, NJ
Duration: 6 Months
Note: Need US-Citizen or GC holder or EAD-GC

Develops technical vision and roadmaps without supervision. Writes for publication. Shares long-term technical and business vision to large audiences on a regular basis. Makes decisions of a global, strategic nature by analyzing complex data systems and incorporating knowledge of other lines of business. Is recognized as a positive leader and is capable of defusing complicated interpersonal issues while managing customer expectations. Spearheads complex programs that span multiple inter-organizational units and interfaces with more experienced management. Is a leader in identifying critical, high pay-off technology strategies and prioritizes team efforts accordingly. Possesses advanced knowledge of business application and services.

Responsible for coaching and mentoring less experienced team members.

(8) Ability to articulate to more experienced management a technical strategy in clear, concise, understandable terms
(9) Technical certifications as required. This position should typically be used for an advanced or lead level resource.

Additional Skills:
Detailed understanding of web technologies
Extensive experience in installing, configuring and tuning web server and web application software including WebLogic, Websphere, IIS and Apache/Tomcat using both command line and console interfaces
Strong analytical ability and troubleshooting skills.
Strong technical skills with proficiency in WebSphere Tomcat, Apache, IIS Java, JSP, IHS
Use of Siteminder for authentication/ SSO
Knowledge of security products such as KEON & LDAP
Strong OS platform skills in Linux, AIX, and Windows
Experience with automating installation tasks via scripting languages
Previous experience in web technologies in a Financial Services organization
Experience in evaluating web architecture requirements and designs; ability to organize inter-dependent tasks and estimate the required effort
Familiarity with Java/J2EE web application configuration and deployments

Roles and Responsibilities:
Installation, patching and configuration of Web & Web Application server products or components on UNIX / Windows.
Configuration of J2EE applications using WebSphere, Weblogic, IIS and Tomcat
Troubleshooting and general support of newly provisioned intranet / internet web hosting environments
Documentation of newly provisioned services and handover to the BAU support team on project completion
Work with a diverse team of web engineers responsible for delivering the web infrastructure components across multiple applications
Out of hours support for Web applications (both in-development and live systems)
