Description:

Experience with integration and testing of Network Management and Tactical Network planner systems

Knowledge of networking concepts and implementation of Networking that include protocols like TCP/IP, MPLS, VoIP, Multicast, QoS, STP, VTP and VLAN''s; Network Security (IPSec Tunnels), Suite B security concepts, Routing Protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP and Gateway Redundancy Protocols like HSRP, VRRP, and GLRP

Experience in LM test methodology like development of test plans, procedures, reports, etc.

Experience authoring network checkout and test procedures to validate system requirements

Experience with test tools like IXIA Chariot Network Test suite

Support fabrication, testing/integration and installation of Network Points of Presence

Knowledge of Security lockdowns of network components in compliance with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGS)

Successful candidate must be a self-starter, working under minimal guidance, and be creative in seeking solutions to various technical challenges on the firm fixed program "

Mandatory:

The candidate requires experience in the design, architecture, installation and maintenance of multiple enterprise database systems. The candidate must have knowledge and experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL database products, and must understand the underlying technologies of both products.

Experience must include best practices in the proper use if SQL (including triggers, indices, views, data types, transaction management, performance tuning, clustering, and backup and restore methodologies, with a strong knowledge of replication and high availability design and implementation. Candidate must have experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Depending on the project phase and requirements, personnel may be required to work hours and days corresponding to the customer''s work schedule.

Desired:

Experience with RPM development and deployment, Red Hat Satellite, Red Hat Identity Manager, and Red Hat Certificate Manager a plus. MySQL Cluster 5.x and PostgreSQL 9.x experience highly desired. Software and/or system development experience using Agile methodology. Experience with JEE architecture a plus.

Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking is highly desirable. Candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, geographically dispersed team environment.

Experience working closely with software development teams and understanding and adherence to basic software practices such as coding standards and configuration management is desired.

Skill Matrix:

This position is for the Lead Database Administrator/Architect in support of the EADGE-T Infrastructure team. This position is responsible for the accurate design, architecture and implementation of enterprise databases across the EADGE-T deployment as well as the installation and maintenance of database systems during development, test and integration phases.

Requires full agile software development life-cycle support. This position will be presented with complex system architecture and development problems that span multiple teams and requires an assertive personality to enforce solutions.

Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules
