Job Description :
The Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional Analyst works within the Order to Cash team and directly with the business to improve business processes, manage projects and implementation of projects, and provide production support on a global scale. The Analyst will be proactive in finding improvements to business processes and designing and build prototypes within the sandbox environment. The role will also provide recommendations, advice, and guidance to the business regarding best business practices.
Responsibilities:
Configuration of new processes and improvements within the SD space.
Production support of Sales and Distribution processes.
Work directly with the business in developing and implementing new initiatives.
Serve as a knowledge base on business processes that can speak on integration points within the process.
Work with the SAP security team on resolving authorization issues and provide recommendations on optimal security setup for ongoing projects’ requirements.
Develop, design, test and validate SAP configuration/customizing related to new business processes developed as part of business process improvement initiatives.
Work with the in-house development team by providing functional specifications for new RICEF developments.ngoing project
Assist other functional leads in ongoing process improvement projects.
Forward thinking in providing new solutions to the business to improve processes.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE MINIMUMS:
SD experience in ECC 5.0 or higher
At least 1 full life cycle SAP project implementation in the area of SD
Demonstrated experience and/or aptitude typically obtained after 5+ years of hands-on SAP SD experience with a combination of project implementations and production support
Demonstrated experience and/or aptitude typically obtained after 2 years of implementation experience with EDI
Expertise in end to end Sales and Distribution processes of Credit Management, Availability to Promise, Sales and Sales support, Invoicing, and Accounts Receivable
Expertise in SD master data management for Customer Masters, CMIR, Pricing, and Customer Hierarchy
Working knowledge of SD integration with LE and MM
Proficient in designing and developing user training documentation, test plan and test script development and execution
Experience with standard SAP stock transport process from order creation to billing
Experience with intercompany billing
Good knowledge of SAP authorization roles, objects and basic reports to troubleshoot missing authorizations
Good understanding of batch management functionality
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
B.S. Degree in an IT, Engineering, or similar field
Experience with CRM packages such as Sales Force or Sales on Demand.
Experience with design and delivery of BW reports in the SD space.
Integration experience with other modules.
Experience developing and executing automated scripts in tools such as Winshuttle
Ability to debug ABAP code and write pseudo (or actual) code for functional specifications.
Experience with Training software such as SAP WPB.
