Must have healthcare experience
Compliance experience related to healthcare is a huge plus
Must have experience with systems related projects and systems integration is a must.
Heavy travel to Vermont and MA for the first 4 months only.

Notes from the manager:

- Travel is required. Mostly to Vermont or MA. Travel is usually Monday through Thursday for the first 4 months then it goes down considerable from there. Candidate must be comfortable with this.
- No need to have been a developer but someone who has worked and understand this space.
- Healthcare compliance experience is a big plus.
- Experience with systems and systems integration is a must
- Looking for someone who can be in the weeds, take accountability and drive tasks.
- Around 7 – 10 years of experience
- Must work in Basking Ridge.


The Technical Project Manager responsible for oversight of the system delivery effort and management of related staff implementing new software Projects on time and per the quality goals and metrics defined in the Project Plan. To this end, the Technical Project Manager is responsible for:

Monitoring daily events and re-plans, as necessary on a continuous basis.
Manages schedule, scope and resources to meet project goals.
Facilitates/forces decision-making at all organization levels.
Ensures plans are current and in sufficient detail.
Communicates and works with OTGS Engagement Team including Program Director and Senior Project Managers
Interacts with SI vendor project manager.
Other Responsibilities and Duties:
Serve as Liaison from Sales Engineering Phase to Delivery Team engagement
Oversight of the system delivery effort and management of related staff
Oversee the System Integration (SI) vendor’s management scope and resources to meet project goals
Participate in the development of all deliverables and artifacts for the project and provide feedback. Deliverables and artifacts can come from various sources such as; SI vendor, Client resources, and federal partners
Monitor daily events and work with SI vendor to re-plan as necessary on a continuous basis
Identify and manage the mitigation of risks and issues
Monitor progress against project schedule and deliverables, including key events such as deliverable acceptance, decision dates, entry and exit criteria; go/no go criteria, etc.
Facilitate/force decision-making at all organizational levels – and escalate when decision-making is impacting the project in any negative manner
Ensure adherence to the Project RACI, facilitating communication within project to ensure collaboration and minimize lack of productivity
Defining the scope of the Project
Developing a work breakdown structure (WBS) for the tasks involved in implementing the scope
Developing the project schedule, including key milestones
Managing progress against the project schedule
Identifying and resolving risks and issues that threaten the implementation


Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
7-10 years of Technical Project Management or Technical lead experience leading an analysis and requirements team – that is, those who know how to estimate the level of effort to collect/validate requirements and can distinguish between great and good requirements.
Have led a development team - that is, those who know how to design and develop/configure software on a technical level. For example, someone who can read and understand a technical design, knows how code is managed in a code repository, who understands the difference between application code and database code, who understands the steps in a software build, etc.
Have led a testing team- that is those who know how to develop a test plan and can distinguish between great and good test plans and test cases.
Have prior experience estimating the level of effort to conduct all activities along the system, development lifecycle and develop a WBS and project schedule.
Have a strong attention to detail and are constantly looking for loopholes or bottlenecks in the delivery of the Project.
Quickly identify, vet, and implement solutions when risks and issues are found.
Have a strong service delivery outlook in which meeting customer needs timely and with creative solutions is paramount.
