Client is seeking a Senior Documentation Specialist/Technical Writer to create and edit content for world-wide customer service call center employees and vendors.

This individual must have:
5 to 7 years of experience working in the industry as a technical writer or documentation specialist documenting procedures, writing instructional content, and working with knowledge management systems.
Primary role will be to create, write, and publish content in KANA and Service Cloud Knowledge tools.
80% of time: Restructure, rewrite, and repurpose existing knowledge management content into understandable language and appropriate format for a global audience.
10% of time: Consult and work with various levels to ensure that materials are relevant and up to date.
10% of time: Determine appropriate knowledge strategies to meet client objectives, as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.
This position may require travel up to 10% per year.

4 year college degree in Communications, English or other related degree Experience Requirements:
Five to seven years in technical writing and instructional design
Experience creating clear and concise software procedural, as well as general product documentation
Recent FrameMaker (10 or above preferred) experience
Recent Adobe Captivate to produce web-based training simulations
Knowledge Management tool(s) – Salesforce Service Cloud preferred
Superior English language writing and editing skills and ability to pass an editing test
Familiarity and experience using and applying styles
Able to work to a style guide and follow department templates
