Peoplesoft Financial Developer ( Need Locals to NY/ NJ Face to Face Interview)


PeopleSoft Financials Developer shall be responsible for Technical Development, Technical Configuration and related tasks supporting the
implementation of the PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 modules of eSupplier, eSettlement, Strategic Sourcing, Travel and Expense and Asset Management. This role requires deep experience as a PeopleSoft Technical Developer with proven ability to handle complex technical solutions using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, SQR and Oracle sql tools.
Requires experience implementing PeopleSoft through all phases of SDLC (analysis, design, build, test,implement and support The developer must also be able to troubleshoot the PeopleSoft application in a hands on capacity. The PeopleSoft Financials Developer will work with Finance
Project Manager and PeopleSoft Functional Leads to develop technical solutions based on Functional
requirements. This role requires experience producing quality deliverables, adhering to software change control procedures and following industry best practices.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for designing best practice technical solutions based on business requirements.
Act as a PeopleSoft FSCM Technical Subject Matter Expert through all major phases of the project
Maintain a partnership with Project Manager, PeopleSoft Functional Leads and Admins
Produce Quality deliverables in a timely manner supporting key project delivery milestones.
Work with Functional Leads to produce comprehensive technical design specs.
Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Technology and it''s application.
Demonstrate understanding of how technical decisions impacts future production support
Ability to provide technical support for delivery of Conference Room Pilot , Technical Requirements
Gathering, Fit/Gap, R.I.C.E.W Technical Design specifications, Build objects, Unit Testing,
Configuration Workbook, Conversion Testing, System Testing, User Acceptance Testing and cutover
Review Gap requirements and provide reasonable technical estimates and impact analysis
Facilitate key discussions with Project Team related to technical strategy and solutions
Produce strategy documents for Interface, Conversion, Reporting, Enhancements and Workflow
Understanding of SDLC and change control procedures
MIMINUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor''s degree and five (5) or more years of hands-on PeopleSoft experience
Experience as Technical Developer in a lead or senior developer capacity on two (2) or more fulllifecycle
implementations of PeopleSoft 9.x
Strong analytical, communication and organizational skills
A thorough understanding of PS FSCM applications, PS Application Designer, Oracle SQL Plus, PS
Integration tools, PS Testing Framework and PS PIA
Experience with various types of testing (Unit, System, Performance, Conversion and UAT)
Significant experience with two or more of the following PeopleSoft modules (eSupplier, eSettlement
Asset Management and Strategic Sourcing)
Ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations orally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and drive deliverables to completion.
Experience with performance tuning of PeopleCode and Oracle sql
Preferred Skills:
Experience working with Big 4 consulting or similar Tier-1 consulting firm
PeopleSoft Technical certification
Experience in PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 AM, eSupplier, eSettlement, Strategic Sourcing and T&E
Higher Education experience
Exposure to PeopleSoft FSCM core modules (e.g. AP, GL and PO )
Exposure to a formal Project delivery methodology
