Job Description:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer science or equivalent, with minimum of 5 -8 years of relevant experience.
2+ years of Security Administration experience
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Possesses working knowledge of mainframe( ACF2 ) and Windows security access administration, RSA Securid, management of service accounts, LDAP security administration
Has a basic understanding of Security Products, services, and basic business processes, and the ability to identify the complexity and prioritize the criticality of various security administration requests with assistance.
Researches opportunities to improve security administration procedures and identifies best practices from the industry.
Helps identify and define security administration problems and develops solutions
Responds efficiently to basic security administration requests and problems.
Begins to educate and communicate security administration standards and procedures to IT colleagues and business partners.
May participate in new project development initiatives affecting security administration requirements
Manages requests and troubleshoots basic security administration systems including RSA Securid, Windows AD, service accounts, LDAP security administration and mainframe.
Conducts system provisioning and security administration activities relating to granting and denying access, resolving problems in a timely fashion.
Demonstrates good understanding of multiple security administration platforms, with intermediate expertise on at least one platform.
Provides guidance in the interpretation and application of access control policies, standards and procedures in simple situations.
Good understanding of the IT security industry.
Need to implement changes to security administration policies and procedures, as directed by management
Receives limited direction and work in progress is monitored periodically.
Helps design appropriate work procedures or approaches to address and/or escalate problems in an efficient manner.
Effective oral and written communication skills, follows established processes and procedures.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings
