Job Title: Performance Testing Expert
Location: Roseland, New Jersey
Duration: 4 Weeks

Job Description:

The resource must be on site with our team at the client site in Roseland NJ and must start tomorrow .This week they work Tuesday and Wednesday. The following 3 weeks, client works 5 days a week: Monday to Thursday on the client site in Roseland, NJ and then work at home or at our 430 Park Ave office in NY on Fridays. Client would cover travel expenses.

Today is phone interview, that contractor would have to be able to start tomorrow – and commit to least a 4-week engagement.

1. Client has been using Performance Center 12 for this project. Need someone who has real experience in Performance Center 12 – we need someone who could hit the ground running on Monday and does not need time to ramp up.
2. He/ She will help the client by properly designing, developing, and executing tests to effectively performance test their systems, identify problems, and suggest potential solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Typical tasks include the following:
Quickly understand documented performance test scenarios
Determine most appropriate protocols to leverage, e.g., Web-HTTP/HTML, TruClient, and AJAX - Click and Script
Design and develop performance test scripts in HP Virtual User Generator 12 to meet the needs specified in documented performance test scenarios
Configure needed HP monitors at the application, network, and database level
Configure and execute tests in HP Performance Center 12''s LoadRunner to effectively performance test client systems, identify problems, and suggest potential solutions
Analyze results in HP Performance Center 12''s Analysis and create needed graphs of key performance findings
Assess how a client could leverage best practices for performance testing
Collaborate with the BCG Platinion team and the client''s team to achieve performance testing goals
Provide needed coaching/training on HP Performance Center 12 and performance testing best practices

Candidate Qualifications

Must have:
Must have expertise in HP Performance Center 12 (Virtual User Generator, LoadRunner, Analysis, Monitors, etc
Must be outstanding in coaching/training
Must be willing to travel

Should have:
Experience scripting in Ruby would be a plus

The ideal candidate possesses:
A university degree with above-average academic performance in a mathematical-scientific field, information technology, or business administration
At least 3 years of strong hands-on performance testing experience, using HP performance testing tools on at least 3 different projects
