Our client, one of the twelve regional Reserve banks in the Fed System, seeks an accomplished Senior Auditor.

The Senior Auditor performs professional internal auditing work at a moderately complex and/or sensitive level.
Understand the client business area and associated technology in order to perform risk and control assessments and develop quality audit plans.
Perform risk-based audit fieldwork; including conducting interviews, employing computer assisted audit techniques, applying appropriate sampling criteria, reviewing and analyzing evidence, and documenting quality working papers.
Document well-developed audit issues including recommendations for improvement that add value to the client.
Prepare formal well-written audit memorandums and reports. Actively monitor and follow-up on audit recommendations.
Provide consulting services as appropriate and participate on special working groups and reviews as needed. Lead “functional” teams or projects within the department.
Develop and maintain productive team-oriented client and staff professional relationships through individual contacts and group meetings.
Utilize project management skills while multi-tasking to meet budgets and project deadlines.
Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training by attending professional audit association meetings, and sharing information gained with co-workers.
Maintain key audit artifacts and databases to ensure documentation stays current and accurate. Assist with communication and training activities.

B.A., B.S., or other baccalaureate/undergraduate degree with major or specialized courses in: Information Technology, Accounting, or other business related degree or equivalent experience.
Audit Certification is strongly desired, with an emphasis on the Certified Information Systems Audit or Project Management Professional certifications.
At least three to five years of Audit or related Bank experience.
Ability to research and analyze relevant information.
Knowledge of information security, operating systems, and/or web services.
Application development knowledge is a plus.
Computer Assisted Audit Techniques experience a plus.
Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively on teams.
Willing to travel 5 to 10 %.
