Job Description :
Using strong database administration experience and technical expertise for creation, management, maintenance and monitoring of diverse database implementations (SQL and NoSQL based, e.g., mySQL, Hadoop, Percona, Casandra) both on-remise and cloud.
Help define and enforce best practice database, query, and data security standards.
Work with Engineering and DevOps to ensure hardware configurations, clustering, replication, compression and currency of database versions are optimal. Ensure strategies maintain confidentiality of Client and its customers'' proprietary information.
Familiar with toolsets and practices that optimize implementations, performance, and scalability of growing databases and data intensive applications to ensure 24x7 availability.
Requirements:Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent.
5-10 years of DBA experience.
5-7 years specific experience / knowledge with SQL, NoSQL and Hadoop is desired.
Experience working in a fast-paced automated environment.
Desire to work in collaboration with a highly skilled and cross-functional team.
Capability to prioritize and balance multiple initiatives.
Good communication and documentation skills.
