Job Description:
A strong Cisco UCS background in an enterprise environment. There are at least four UCS domains in the environment.
A background with Dell/HP servers as esxi hosts as well
Must have experience architecting and configuring UCS/VMware for all storage protocols (NFS 3, NFS 4.1, Iscsi, FCP)
Preferred to have experience with Hyperconverged infrastructure (VSAN, VXRail, HyperFlex)
Must have at least some experience with the following VMware Software
ESXi 6 – very important
VCenter Server Appliances 6 and newer – very important
Distributed switching and Network IO control
Multi-site sso domain
VSAN
Powercli
NetApp VSC (preferred)
VASA Providers (preferred)
VRealize Suite
vRealize Operations Manager – very important
vRealize Log Insight – very important
vRealize Automation – long term high importance
vRealize Network Insight – long term high importance
VMware NSX – Long term high importance
VMware Horizon 7 – Long term medium importance
VMware Data Protection Appliance
Enterprise Data Protection experience (Commvault, Veeam, Rubrik, Netbackup, etc…)
Windows AD/DNS/DHCP
Windows 2008 R2, Windows 2012 R2, Windows 2016
Infoblox – end user and through vRA
