Salesforce Business Systems Analyst

As a Business Systems Analyst, you will partner with the Sales and Business Groups to support applications and ensure delivery of applications align with the business and IT strategy. In addition, you will work with these groups to define their global IT requirements and to analyze appropriate solutions, manage projects from inception to completion with matrix global teams.

Responsibilities

Build relationships with the IT global team, including BSAs, developers, and infrastructure as well as systems vendors and customer representatives
Translate business requirements into system solutions
Write Functional Design documentation for in-house or vendor developers
Analyze and determine application and interface solutions
Understand application functionality
Perform system set-up, configuration, and testing
Support day-to-day systems and interfaces issues
Design and develop complex reports as needed
Suggest best practices and opportunities for improvement through automation
Play a key role in migration to new Systems
Develop test plans for system testing
Provide training and mentoring
Project manage team initiatives
Utilize IT Software Development Life Cycle methodology
Assist in System Portfolio Management and Strategic Roadmap

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred
5 – 10 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical skills in analyzing complex problems, processes, and systems to propose solutions
Expert skills in one or more CRM platforms or applications
Implementation and support experience with SalesForce.com CRM sales/service cloud applications
Good understanding of Lead, Opportunity, Quoting Business Processes
Good understanding of Sales Methodologies
Good understanding of Order Management concepts
Working/Implementation knowledge on demand generation tools like Marketo a plus
Working/Implementation knowledge of any Quoting Tool a plus
Good understanding of Customer Care/Call Center processes a plus
Strong ability in designing user centric applications that are easy to use
Ability to document interfaces and data flows
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Ability to establish working relationships with personnel at all levels in the organization
Ability to effectively manage confidentiality of information
Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and technology
Experience with Project Management tools and methodology a plus
