Position : Solutions Architect
Location : Seattle, Washington
Duration : 6+ Months
Key Responsibilities
Communicate and defend the solution architecture vision with all internal and client audiences, as the project progresses through various releases.
Evolve the solution architecture vision and implementation, while always ensuring clear and detailed traceability to all relevant, documented, published and approved
Project architecture and technical decisions and standards.
Direct, guide and oversee technical leads in realizing the solution architecture vision through high-level and low-level design and implementation in a manner that fully addresses the stated functional and non-functional requirements.
Direct, as appropriate, troubleshooting and problem resolution of complex technical problems that impact design, development, testing and post-implementation execution.
Participate in release planning, project planning and effort estimation meetings, as required and invited, to ensure that solution architecture tasks across the software development lifecycle are properly estimated, sequenced, resourced and executed.
Qualifications / Necessary Skills
Demonstrated experience in serving in the capacity of Solutions Architect or equivalent role with broad responsibilities overseeing the end-to-end vision and implementation.
Demonstrated experience leading a senior team of domain architects and technical leads in realizing the solution architecture for a large-scale program/project implementation.
Strong working knowledge of and demonstrated experience in multiple distributed technologies, including but not limited to, J2EE, .NET, Portals, Web etc.
Strong working knowledge of and demonstrated experience in developing and driving solution architectures employing Portal, SOA, web services, Agile, data management, data conversion and BI strategies, architecture and design patterns
