Job Description :
Position: PowerBuilder Support Analyst
Duration: 12-24 months+
Location: SLC, UTAH
Interview Mode: Web cam Interview
100% Onsite role. No tele-commute / Remote option.
PowerBuilder development and support work is declining at the Client and this trend will continue as the client plans to replace the majority of it’s 8 remaining PowerBuilder applications within the next 1 to 2 years. CLIENT has strongly indicated they only want to maintain and NOT enhance their existing applications.
Given the current and projected workload for PowerBuilder applications, the client has chosen to use contracted vendor labor to perform the required maintenance and support.
Development Environment:
Software
· PowerBuilder – 12.5
Database
· Oracle 12c
Current Status:
1. 8 applications.
Requirements and Deliverables:
1. Scheduled and emergency maintenance support.
Required technical skills:
· Strong Knowledge of PowerBuilder applications w.r.t support & maintenance.
· Good Knowledge of database design (Oracle experience preferred); and
· Good Knowledge of SQL development (Oracle PL/SQL preferred
