Job Description:
The client purchased a Fixed Income trading firm that developed its own trading software which was built on Fortran and Sybase. Our client uses Oracle so they need to port a lot of data from the old system to Oracle (in a Redhat Linux environment The consultant will need both C and C++ server side experience.
We have some C and C++ code that currently runs on Solaris 2.6 writing to a Sybase ASE 12.5 database. We need to port that code to a CentOS Linux platform and write to an Oracle 12c database instead. The existing authors of the code are available to lead/direct the effort. Extensive testing will be required. Server side development.
Skills Needed:
C and C++ (both, not one or the other)
Solaris 2.6
Linux Red Hat 6 or 7 based Linux – Red Hat, CentOS or Oracle Linux
Sybase ASE 12.5, CT-Lib, Oracle 12c, OCI, SQL
Fixed Income experience is a plus (Financial Services is preferred)
