Candidate would ideally have working knowledge of Supply Chain operations, with specific focus on Transportation Planning and Management. 4-5 years of Transportation systems experience is required; experience with or working knowledge of other aspects of Supply Chain Operations (Manufacturing, Distribution, Stock Management, etc is preferred
The person should have 5+ years of combined functional and technical experience, with strong familiarity and comfort with relational databases, business process flow diagrams, file manipulation, some ability to write SQL queries and to read PL/SQL code and scripts, etc. EDI experience is also preferred (EDI 204/210/214)
Strong Experience with the MercuryGate, transportation planning platform.
Must have strong, demonstrated experience in structured SDLC, especially in writing business requirements, gap analysis, functional design, test plans, implementation plans, and be able to review and understand technical design.
The ability to write detailed test scripts and work with QA team members to test integration points is also required
Strong business communication skills (verbal and written), comfort in working with business and developers, ability to own an issue from creation through resolution, status reporting on issues and change requests are required.
Candidate should demonstrate their ability to understand, capture, and articulate a business process vision, and to decompose this vision into actionable phases or project efforts.
Must have majority of experience working on the IT side.
Some experience in production support role (triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, etc is helpful, but production support is not a focus of this role.
