Job Title : Systems Engineering Consultant/Expert
Duration : 42 months

Tax Term : W2
Position Description:
This position does not have any code development responsibilities.
Responsibilities include: Engineer and manage the deployment of new Hadoop solutions and components;
Support the operations team with escalated incidents;
Be available for occasional after-hours escalations;
Implement security controls and separation of duties processes according to company policies;
Document day-to-day processes, installation and desk procedures;
Provide SME support to the operations team for escalated issue resolution and incident management.
Skills Required:
Ability to self-start, multitask and communicate effectively;
5+ years of experience with any of these Informatica products: DIH, BDM, DI, EIC, IDL, MDM (ideally in a Linux environment);
3+ years of experience as a Hadoop systems engineer integrating various products into the ecosystem.
Strong foundation in Linux system administration including LDAP and Kerberos;
Strong scripting skills in at least one language Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking;
Troubleshooting and problem resolution skills.
Experience Preferred:
Experience with HPE SecureData (aka Voltage);
Experience with Ambari, Yarn, Storm, and/or Ranger;
Exposure to Kerberos and MySQL. None
Education Required:
Bachelor"s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
