Title: Sr. Network Engineer
Location: New York, NY 10018
Full Time Position

The Sr. Network Engineering role is responsible for responsible for the technical design, planning, implementation, and performance management of mission critical network platforms. The Network Engineer serves as a technical expert in the area of system engineering for complex technology solutions such as LAN, WAN, Wireless, and Voice technology platforms and service. This individual should be and self-motivated and capable of working both independently as well as part of a team. A typical work breakdown would include 50% of designing solutions, 30% of implementation and planning and 20% focused on problem management and supporting the environment.

The Engineering group performs technology planning, design, and deployment of technology platforms and services. This includes gathering requirements, investigate vendor offerings, select specific technologies, perform the integration required, conduct pre-release testing, and deployment. This group is also responsible for escalated problem management activities.

10+ Years networking experience

Seven (7) years in a network role
Three (3) years’ experience with system architecture and design
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work related experience

Two or more of the following Cisco Certified Network Professional in Routing and Switching (CCNP - R&S), Cisco Certified Network Professional –in Wireless (CCNP - Wireless), Cisco Certified Network Professional in Security (CCNP - Security), Cisco Certified Network Professional in Data Center (CCNP – Data Center), Cisco Certified Network Professional in Collaboration (CCNP - Collaboration), Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP),
ITIL is a plus.
