Sr. Machine Learning Developer
An ideal candidate should have minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience with proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and Spark. The candidate should have an expert level of development skills and should show a demonstrated ability to develop distributed computing solutions geared towards big data and machine learning. The candidate should demonstrate a mastery of skills in terms of developing frameworks using cutting edge algorithms. Experience with relational, NoSQL, and graph databases is highly desired.
Here are some of the additional desired skills:
Business Understanding - (What comprises a machine learning problem vs. Otherwise)
Data Understanding – Data Characteristics and Catalog Management platform skills (Ontologies, ERD, Repos)
Data preparation – Exposure to Data Cleansing Tools (Informatica, Python, Perl, Hadoop Hive, Scala, Spark)
Modeling – Understanding of Modeling Ensembles and Platform components supporting the same (PMML, Model Support formats)
Validation – Understanding of Scoring frameworks around ML (PMML, other)
Deployment – Microservices, OpenSource, Big Data, Spark
Key Programming Skills to source profiles:
· Machine Learning Platform/Framework development Experience (Not just application development)
· ML development experience using SCALA
· ML development experience using SPARK, SPARK MLIB
· Experience in Docker/Kubernetes container technologies
· Knowledge in NOSQL, Casandra
· Knowledge in Microservices/WebServices
