Position: Supply Chain Business Process Analyst
The Supply Chain Business Process Analyst will lead the effort to design solutions that meets the MGA requirements. Understands the MGA business processes and work closely with the business partners to deliver new and optimize existing IT capabilities. Must have a strong knowledge of the technology used to meet the business requirements.
?Understands the movement of goods and information through the Supply Chain, to identify gaps in efficiency, visibility, and/or other areas needing improvement. Uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, forecast and recommend improvements to supply chain processes.
Leads cross-functional teams tasked with implementation of selected improvements. Analyze existing business processes within all segments of the Supply Chain (Order/Plan/Buy/Make/Ship) through personal observation and user interaction.
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task & workflow analysis.
Document current- and future-state Supply Chain business process flows. Identify process gaps and propose recommendations to current Supply Chain processes, utilizing a best-practices approach. Identify and document functional requirements, workflow, information sources and high level system requirements.
Provide subject-matter expertise to all current Supply Chain functional areas.
Qualification
?Qualifications Degree (B.A. or B.S in Supply Chain or Business.
Minimum of ten (10) year’s experience in Supply Chain or Logistics.
Minimum five (5) year’s experience utilizing MRP/ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Order Management, Inventory, Manufacturing, BOM, Costing, Purchasing and Planning
APICS training and/or certification desirable.
Knowledge in lean methodology and/or lean-six-sigma certification desirable.
