Job Description :
The role is to act as member of team with responsibility and accountability for end to end migration of devices and users, working with Project Managers to assist in the delivery of technical solutions that will facilicate high-volume migrations, and to define the functional specifications that will be used to develop designs and to guide implementation. This will also involve attending and presenting at technical and programme governance boards, as part of the deliverable approval processes.
The selected candidate will be responsible for working with cross-organizational resources to prepare existing devices and objects for migration, carrying out tasks and activities that will ensure that device functionalities are replicated into the target domain, documenting technical designs that comply fully with Aon’s Global Strategy for Global Client Endpoint, and reviewing global designs to assess impact to the project, representing the project in technical forums as a Client Endpoint Subject Matter Expert.
Specific knowledge and experience with Microsoft tools for Active Directory.
Microsoft Windows System Administration.
Active Directory Migration Tools.
Advanced skills in Windows Scripting/PowerShell.
Generic Microsoft based applications knowledge, E.G. MS Office.
General Incident Management systems E.G. Remedy, Sunrise etc
Experience using Change management systems is desirable
