Required:
Temporary Support to manage Infrastructure Operations, Security Operations and Customer Support. We are looking for a Manager of Infrastructure and Operations to support our current needs and transition to an Authority


Manager - Infrastructure.
Primary areas of responsibility:
Manage Enterprise Helpdesk services:
o Tier 1 support team (5)
o Tier 2 support and remediation (4)
o Tier 3 /4 Engineering and Enterprise Support (7)
Manage Enterprise Security Operations (4)
The supported environment includes a 365 store retail environment, distribution warehouse, ecommerce site, licensing, enforcement operations, and administrative support (accounting, HR, Legal, Payroll etc
Services are delivered with a mixture of COTS and Custom solutions, primarily in a Linux / Oracle / Java / Weblogic environment, with some MSSQL, .NET, Sharepoint, Sitecore and windows components / applications.• Strategically over the next 5 years we will be retiring many of the custom applications and replacing them with COTS products.
ABC Infrastructure largely runs in CESC, a Commonwealth off site data center managed under contact by Northrop Grumman. Some components such as distribution management and retail systems run at specific non datacenter locations.
Functions expected of this role:
o Developing a long term infrastructure strategy and roadmap. As an Authority, ABC expects to migrate ownership of many NG functions from their current state to a more responsive architecture appropriate to a retail focused enterprise. This includes
? Converged Data / Telecom / Conferencing
? Support for Omnichannel retail systems
? Support for Store network operations and SLA’s
? Maintain and support existing systems to meet current compliance, PCI and Commonwealth standards, including identifying upcoming obsolescence and upgrade paths
o Supporting Change Control for deployments and maintenance on production systems, including enterprise communications and emergency response
o Creating amdn managing the Service Catalogue for ABC capabilities – both internally and from external vendors
o Ensuring security operations are effective in in their governance role, including Access and Account management, threat detection and prevention
o Providing Engineering and Support input to new projects and initiatives the Agency / Authority undertakes to ensure design standards and supportability are maintained
o Is responsible for Application Lifecycle Management process and documentation
o Creates and manages portfolio and team performance using metrics including reliability, availability, compliance and responsiveness for this operational area
o Negotiates and manages support arrangements with vendors for outsourced or COTS components
