Local to MN or from Midwest (MN, IL, Iowa, Kansas, Indiana, Michigan, MO, etc)Healthcare exp preferred.Rally Report Migration (move from Tableau to MicroStrategy) and Well-being Reporting
Required Skills:
Experience in MicroStrategy 9.x /10.x tool suite (MicroStrategy Desktop, MicroStrategy Web, MicroStrategy Architect and Microstrategy OLAP Services
Building and maintaining MicroStrategy schema objects (attributes, facts, hierarchies, tables, views) Good Knowledge in Developing Application Objects (filters, prompts, metrics, Custom Groups, Consolidations, Drill Maps, Templates, Searches) to develop Documents, Reports and Dynamic Dashboards.
Experience in creating complex MicroStrategy reports using advanced filters, level metrics, transformation metrics and using pass through functions in the schema objects. Good Knowledge of BI Tuning techniques (MicroStrategy VLDB settings)
Experience developing visually appealing MicroStrategy dashboards and documents which needed to be exported to excel and PDF
. Experience in Creating Freeform SQL reports. Ability to troubleshoot and tune MicroStrategy reports to determine and fix data issues, incorrect joins and performance issues.
Experience in working with Logical data models, different types of hierarchies in MicroStrategy.
Strong knowledge on MicroStrategy Architect, ability to translate complex requirements through schema layer.
Excellent SQL Skills and proficiency in Oracle database. Ability to work closely with Business Analysts to understand business requirements.
Ability to understand technical specification and create report design documents. Demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, follow development standards and effectively raise critical issues with the client
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of end to end SDLC
Experience with healthcare data
MS Office Suites
Knowledge of dimensional data model
