Team Foundation Server (TFS) Administrator SME/Lincoln, NE  6 mth+ contract  (6963762)
Primary Responsibilities: Implement and manage the build and deployment processes for a .NET development team using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS Administer TFS, including permissions, branching and source code policies and work item tracking. Troubleshoot compilation and build failures to help facilitate resolutions. Manage software releases across environments. Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality Conduct Release Readiness reviews, Milestone Reviews, and Business Go/No-Go reviews Produce Deployment, Run Books and Implementation Plans. Develop and implement release management policies and processes following industry best practices. Work with the infrastructure team to establish the physical environments to perform software builds and deployments with an emphasis on quality and security. Coordinate multiple, simultaneous releases with project management, business analyst, development, testing and production support teams. Integrate automated builds and build artifacts into test environments, unit test harnesses, and code analysis tools using most appropriate languages and methodologies. Ability to introduce new techniques and technologies for new build systems and evolve existing systems. Continually work towards making improvements in the release process Researches new software development and configuration management methodologies and technologies and analyzes their application to current configuration management needs. Other Responsibilities: Work closely with development and production support teams to solve build system issues, define standards, and follow best practices. Drive the transition to a more segregated development environment, with more clearly defined movement from development to production. Provide demonstrations or training to develop internal expertise. Participate in special projects as assigned by leadership. 

Desirable Skills - Required Skills: Overall experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server TFS Administration experience with TFS build engine Experience in setting up SharePoint with TFS Experience in process automation and troubleshooting Experience in creating/maintaining TFS collections, projects and TFS roles and permissions schemes Experience in performing TFS migrations and upgrades Experience in troubleshooting TFS builds and developer issues Experience working with Active Directory groups Experience using source code/configuration management and testing tools Microsoft Visual Studio expertise. Microsoft SQL Server development skills. Solid knowledge of best practices, processes, and tools required to support application lifecycle management (ALM Strong written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills. Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science with 8-10 years of Experience or Masters degree with 7-8 years of relevant experience or other direct related work experience. Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in software release management. Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in systems analysis or development Minimum of 5 years of experience in TFS administration. Advanced knowledge of SDLC. ITIL Foundations certification is desired.
