Looking for a Senior developer to join Automation Engineering team in building the next generation of self-service portals using the latest Java/J2EE technologies. As part of that effort, we are looking for energetic, self-motivated, high quality professionals for our software components that automate management of complex, real-time business processes. Experience with vmWare Technologies and Provisioning Automation products are a definite plus
Required Skills:
Excellent knowledge and experience in Java/J2EE development. Strong skills in both Front end and back-end development using Java and java frameworks (Frameworks - Struts, hibernate, spring, JUnit, Jfaces)
Web service experience in both developing services and clients
Good knowledge Web services in interfacing/Integrating with external Tools and services
Good working experience in ExtJS is must
Good Working knowledge in Middleware & Java Scripting and Ajax is required
Working experience with Groovy on grails or other grails frameworks
Good knowledge and working experience with vmWare products (vRealize, vCloud etc),
Experience with Provisioning Automation products (Puppet, Automation Anywhere, Blade Logic etc)
Database skills (oracle, DB2) along with UML, html and xml
Working knowledge in Linux
Experience in Python and Power shell scripts
Good hands on experience in Apache, Tomcat and WLS configurations and trouble shooting.
Should knowledge with code optimization techniques
Having good problem solving skills and Unit Testing
Experience with EDM and Agile Scrum Methodology
Working understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and internet-related technologies including XML, JEE and Java Server applications
Responsibilities:
Lead Self Service Portal development and Architecture.
Act as primary interface between Operations, Architecture, Engineering and technical stakeholders.
The hired candidate will work and lead group of development and engineering team to provide strategic support for Automation engineering solutions for multiple business critical applications
