The Customer Experience Personalization Team is looking for an expert Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to begin forming an Automation group.
We are primarily responsible for working alongside the development and product management teams to produce high quality web and mobile applications for employees and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities Senior-level web test automation experience (Selenium, Jasmine) and ability to write robust tests in a compatible language Senior-level iOS mobile test automation experience (Calabash, Appium)
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application(s) Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements Designs new software, supports applications under development, and customizes current applications Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review Attributes for Success Self-driven; cannot require intense oversight; must be able to identify needs and react to them independently BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject Four plus years of experience in developing web applications A solid understanding of object-oriented programming and various design/architectural patterns Two plus years of experience working with Continuous Integration (CI) and build/deployment tools such as Jenkins, Maven, or Concourse Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, SOAP and RESTful APIs Ability to write clean, readable and reusable Java code/libraries Strong experience with Version Control Systems (GIT, CVS, SCN, etc) preferrably GIT.
A strong sense of ownership and responsibility for code quality that follows best practices Solid verbal and written communication skills Ability to effectively collaborate with other software engineers within the team Bonus Experience with Angular, as the web app is built in Angular 4
