Manage multiple complex programs and project teams with broad scope and high impact, driven by aggressive time frames.
Customarily and regularly manage cross functional project teams, executing to complex and significant impact to the enterprise company business strategies.
Demonstrates leadership by creating an environment that fosters teamwork, values diversity, and which supports and respects all team and company staff-members, internal and external customers, and vendors.
Responsible for selecting, managing, developing, coaching, and motivating the project team.
Execute transformation of program and project governance policy, processes and procedures; drive cultural change of project engagement and accountability.
Partners with the Security Team, supporting as well as providing input to the security direction.
Oversees all aspects of project management including, analyzing project requests, aligning projects with business priorities, and allocating resources to execute projects.
Set deadlines, assign project team responsibilities, and manage team resources.
Prepare metrics and governance reports to support management and execution of projects.
Apply risk management assessment in project planning and ongoing execution.
Drive resolution of issues and conflicts associated with managing and coordination of complex organizational projects.
Provide internal leadership and coordination of project dependencies with vendors and business contacts as needed.
Lead and direct the work of others who may or may not directly report to you but whose input and cooperation is needed on the project.
Serve as the conduit between the business functions and IT team through which requirements flow and has overall responsibility for managing change initiatives.
Identifies, develops, and delivers training/mentoring to project managers and project team members as appropriate for required for implementation.
Aligns projects to needed corporate compliance and regulatory policies and procedures.
Maintains systems to track progress and risks for IT projects and initiatives.
Responsible for mapping of project requirements ensuring adequate quality assurance of released products into production environments.
Communicates with executive staff and project stakeholders, manages escalations, controls scope creep and reports on project progress.
Develops and maintains ongoing support to customer base for implemented solutions.
Provides technical consulting to others and/or projects participants.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or 10 years of equivalent experience in a related field required.
PMP certification preferred.
Minimum 8 - 10 years of experience in managing technical teams and technical operations business functions in a large scale project management role.
Minimum of 7 years of supervisory experience/project management experience within the IT field.
In depth experience with process improvement methodologies and process analysis and design experience a plus.
Proven ability to create and achieve a desired future state vision through influence on group and individual goals, reinforcements and systems.
Proven ability to innovate, lead, execute and build strong relationships with all levels of management and internal customers.
Proven ability to manage through large scale change.
Highly self-motivated and possess a strong attention to detail.
Extensive technical knowledge and detailed understanding of the operational dependencies of systems networks, current technologies and security in a technical environment.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
