Position: Lead Oracle Apps DBA

Job Description:
At least 10+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle eBusiness suite technologies.
Oracle Apps DBA with extensive administration experience on Oracle 11i and R12.
Thorough database performance tuning experience in Oracle Database versions 10g,11g and RAC.
Thorough operating system experience on Solaris and Linux platforms. Have deep understanding and implementation/support experience on web technologies (WebLogic, Oc4J, JBoss, TomCat, etc
Strong expertise writing automation scripts using Shell, Perl, SQL or Python scripting.
Strong understanding of storage technologies specifically NAS.
Experience installing, setup and troubleshooting of Demantra, Discoverer, SSO.
Experience setting up DR for mission critical applications.
Following could be a plus: -
Tiered setup of applications in DMZ, Web/App/DB, SSL Setup, iSupplier, SSLOffLoading methods.
Ability to fine tune, triage thread, stack, heap dumps, setup right JVM for application needs and appropriate Garbage Collection (GC) methods.
Clustering and other methods to enable high availability.
