10+ Years of experience and ability to lead a small team
Must have:
Strong understanding of Linux / Mac Administration
Good hold on shell scripts, Scripts programming
Capability to understand open source technology,
Ability to read and understand Python, Groovy, JS script codes
Experience in automation / configuration of Jenkins builds, plugins
Knowledge of IT securities, OS updates, package managers like Brew, apt-get etc
Working experience in SDLC teams, Agile process
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of DevOps engineers in automating and streamlining processes through the development of frameworks, implementation of standards, processes and controls in release and deployment activities.
Self-starter, capable of working without direction and able to deliver projects from scratch.
Strong leader that can implement agile/lean practices across Foundation Services Projects
Automate computing platform delivery to support entire service lifecycle, from design, development, and to production.
Write technical documents for feasibility work, design, and configuration guides.
Work with Engineering, Technical Operations, Quality Assurance and Project Management to implement releases of software.
Build, release, automate and configure changes into Integration, QA, Staging and Production environments.
Assist tools development team to prototype build and release automation tools.
Improve productivity by designing & developing full-featured build systems; implementing tools and scripts that enable efficient, flexible builds.
