Job Description :
Sr. Data and Reporting Analyst
This position will provide data, reporting, and analytical support to the organization in fulfillment of various Legal and Compliance related demands.
Data Fulfillment (70%)
Provide data, reporting and analytics as needed to fulfill various compliance, legal, financial, regulatory matters, state and federal exams, audits, licenses, etc.
Provide input to and support the development of the TFS corporate business and data dictionary
Maintain and manage documentation of processes, archiving of completed work, and structures of file shares within BI
Project Management (10%):
Oversees the development of reporting (dashboards, views), from discovery through implementation, and ensures it is in alignment with EDM and BI data & reporting governance practices.
Organize and facilitate meetings with business units and project teams to identify and resolve issues, manage risks, and communicate status
Escalate risks/issues as appropriate to Manager
Subject Matter Expertise (20%)
Educate and remain updated on new laws, regulations, and compliance practices impacting TFS
Develop and serve as a subject matter expert on data & reporting pertaining to all aspects of TFS business, data, and systems capabilities
Desired Skills and Experiences
3+ years Financial Services industry experience
3+ years Reporting, Analytics, and Business Intelligence experience
1+ year with dealing with data requests for Legal & Compliance matters
Expertise in Advanced SQL code development
Understanding of basic set theory and its application in SQL
Working knowledge of SAS or other data querying tools
Experience with working with both OLAP and OLTP databases
Database Administration and Data Warehousing experience is a big plus
Experience working in Mainframe TSO environment is a big plus
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal relations skills required
Ability to build trust and relationships with data users and internal work groups
Strong analytical and customer service skills

Ability to work through ambiguity and manage to project deadlines
