Location is Warren MI
Seeking a full time PHP software developer to help develop and support the
client''s Program Lifecycle Management System (PLM), an enterprise level
software system which is developed in house. Our PLM software is written
using PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Development includes all aspects
of the development lifecycle, including design, development, deployment,
training and maintenance.
The ideal candidate is creative, and passionate about developing quality
software, using good programming practices. Candidates should also have a
strong willingness and aptitude to learn the newest web development
technologies.
Responsibilities:
Gather requirements from end users (internal employees
Design software to solve problems (database design, PHP class
design, etc
Develop and implement software solutions.
Maintain and train on existing software solutions.
Help develop and deploy solutions to systems architecture problems
across the company.
Qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience
Strong knowledge of system architecture, data structures, design
and integration.
Object-oriented PHP, JavaScript, CSS3, and HTML, 1+ years of
experience.
SQL, database design & normalization, 3+ years of experience.
Strong problem solving skills and an attention to detail.
Work well as a team, with good communication skills.
Post-secondary education in computer science or many years of
experience.
Desirable Skills & Experience
Bachelor of Science.
Experience in the automotive industry.
Self-sufficient: can take user requirements, debug code and solve
problems with minimal guidance.
jQuery, AJAX or Smarty experience.
Version control software experience, Subversion (SVN) a plus.
MVC experience, Laravel preferred.
Less or SASS.
Bootstrap or Foundation.
Experience with master data and/or systems integration.
