Experienced Web Services Developer that can design and develop services providing brokerage data to our clients.
The required skill set is Java/J2EE, SOAP 1.1 or 1.2, Clearcase, Linux, SH/KSH Scripting, Perl/Python, RESTful services and other XML technologies. It would also be advantageous to have experience in Tomcat, Websphere, WSSecurity and PKI.
· 5+ years of extensive software development experience are required.
· Strong development skills in Java, Webshpere/Tomcat, javascript, XML, xHTML, HTML4, HTML 5,HTTP Protocol,HTML, SOAP, spring/struts, UNIX, Linux
· Strong Market Data development experience
· Experience with Reuters and/or Activ Financial APIs preferred
· Tibco Product knowledge a plus, RVRD, EMS, AMS
· Experience using IBM/Rational ClearCase
· Strong Unix & Linux Skills and Scripting Experience
· Oracle Database Experience a plus
· Strong test plan writing skills
· Financial brokerage Knowledge skills a plus
· Strong and mature interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills are required.
· Demonstrated skills with the full systems development life cycle process are required.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
· Resourceful ability to perform and/or support a 24x7 on-call duties periodically throughout the year is required.
