The Business Analyst should have experience participating on a project team to implement a large purchased application. They will work with the business SME to modify our existing business process to work within the new application. Responsibilities may include:
Working closely with business area to define process, system requirements and improvements. This includes documenting process flows and assisting with the work instructions.
Define and document business change, the impact on systems and the return on investment of making the change.
Facilitate solution discussions with the systems analyst or application developer to identify potential solutions that meet the business requirements.
Work with the development team and end users to validate process and system changes. This includes determining if the changes satisfy the requirements and there are no errors with the changes. Experience developing test specifications and test plans is required. Also, they should be experience documenting test results and issues encountered during testing.
Experience with end user training initiatives; including documentation and delivery of training materials as well as mentoring programs.
Required Skills :
5 years BA
manufacturing industry experience
hands-on experience with data modeling tools such as Microsoft Visio.
Six Sigma, Lean certification is beneficial.
Experience using IT development methodologies such as waterfall.
