Job Description :
Title: Devops Engineer- OpenStack Operations/Maintenance Engineer

Must Have:

- RHEL 7 expert
- Puppet and/or Ansible
- Python Programing or Scripting with good knowledge to look the code and determine why the errors happening in Openstack( 2+ years)
- Full CI toolchain (IE: Git/Jenkins/Artifactory/Jenkins etc

Would like:
- OpenStack Experience (Operations/Engineer/Installer) – At least 1 to 2 years

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for post-configuration of OpenStack deployments.
- Create scripts and automation for post-configurations
- Create toolchain using CI/CD open source software like Git/Jenkins/etc.
- Integrate install into existing backend processes (governance, security, operations)

Job tasks will include the automating the install of:

- Monitoring agents
- Security scripts and AD integration
- CMDB hooks

As well as:

- Placing all scripts and configs in Git and automating it through a CI/CD tool chain that they will have to create.
- Automating the Upgrade process
- Writing Unit testing for the changes
- Automating repetitive tasks
- Troubleshooting the issues by looking at Openstack code to correlate the errors etc
