Training Coordinator / Functional Tester
Duration: Long term contract

Place of Performance: Work may be performed at an AFS site in San Antonio, TX or at the Subcontractor site.
Travel Requirements:

Job Description:
Responsible for performing high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex applications that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills. Directs and participates in all phases of system development with emphasis on planning, analysis, evaluation,
integration, testing and acceptance phases (IV&V and DT&E Applies higher-level business or technical principles and methods to very difficult technical problems to arrive at automated engineering solution. Designs and prepares
technical reports and related documentation, and makes charts and graphs to record results.
The Training Business Integration Consultant will perform functional support activities for the application in the Training environments.
Primary role to include: coordinate work effort across different teams to support the training environments, able to research and answer questions pertaining to the solution in Training. Also included in this will be everyday application support tasks such as diagnosing Training system errors, conducting the research/troubleshooting the error, collaborating with Technical Arch team members, DBAs, Oracle support, and clients to ensure the implemented training instances are functioning as design and that there are no issues during training.
Work and responsibilities would include:
Respond to escalated calls from Trainers within an hour
Conduct open-ended research into application errors
Monitor and Maintain status of trouble tickets
Work closely with other teams in troubleshooting and implement fixes timely
Document efforts and findings in Clear Quest
Coordinate issues with Oracle Support as applicable
Communicate effectively – both verbally and written
Able to work independently, yet providing feedback to lead on a daily basis
Additional Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree (Computer Science/Business)
· Air Force IT experience, Military Systems Experience
· Computer systems architecture and design
· Application development / maintenance methods
· IBM Rational Tools including Rational Rose, ClearCase, ClearQuest, Quality Manager, etc
