Data Integration/Talend Developer
Interview: Phone and Face-to-Face
Responsibilities:
- Develop Talend services/jobs for file to file transformations
- Mentor offshore Talend developers and troubleshoot as needed
- Technologies needed: Talend, Java, and SQL
Qualifications:
- 8+ consecutive years as an ETL developer
- 3-5 years using Talend is preferred. Must have experience with data integration, application integration, big data Integration, and data quality
- 3-5 years’ experience working TAC and Run deck
- 3-5 years of SQL, database and/or data warehouse experience
- 3+ years of hands-on expertise with SQL queries and RDBMS
- 2-3 years’ experience with Java development
- Experience with test driven development
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile / Scrum methodology experience
- Experience with designing and developing complex Talend jobs
- Ability to document the project deliverables very well
- An excellent team player with good communication skills
- Experience with file based Talend jobs – file to file services with various file formats
