Title: Sr. .NET Developer
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI
Duration: 12-18 months contract
Interview process: Phone and/or Virtual (WebEx or Skype)
Key skills: C#, SQL Server, SSIS and/or SSRS, Unit Testing (i.e. NUnit, MS Test), DevExpress, source code control (Subversion), builds and deployments
Job Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is currently focused on ensuring our applications adhere to regulatory standards Net compliance, vulnerability scanning and remediation, automated builds and deployments, etc and, therefore, we’re looking to augment our staff with contracting resources to accomplish these tasks.
Develop solutions that can leverage existing development/tools as well as create solutions that act as building blocks for future development.
Write clear, concise technical documentation to accompany all application development.
Use trouble shooting skills to analyze and resolve issues with legacy software.
Required Qualifications:
7+ years of overall IT experience in roles demonstrating design, development, implementation, and application support expertise.
4+ years of experience in object oriented development using C
4+ years of experience using Microsoft SQL Server.
Demonstrated experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
Strong interpersonal communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
Strong independent work ethic.
Excellent documentation skills to ensure repeatable standards, best practices and consistent approaches for support teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience with SSIS and/or SSRS.
2+ years of experience in C# unit testing (MS Test, NUnit, etc.
Experience with DevExpress.
Skilled in source code control (Subversion), builds and deployments.
Understanding of Investment business, processes, and terminology.
Location: The contractor would be required to work out of our Menomonee Falls office (100 Heritage Reserve | Menomonee Falls, WI 53051) and work a schedule that is agreeable to their manager.
Our ideal candidate is one that currently resides in the Milwaukee area, as we’ve had experiences in the past where contractors don’t work out due to relocation issues (family, friends, weather, etc.
