Experience with Disaster Recovery
Maintaining and updating storage and backup topologies.
Exec, CommVauIt, DataDomain and Avamar; backup expertise is required
Provide expertise and leadership in Solutions Architecture in the infrastructure and applications space.
8+ Years of experience in backup and recovery activities
Maintain backup Multi-Day Failure (bMDF) process to identify, remediate and escalate consecutively missed backups
Identify and remediate servers and storage with backup success rates less than 95%
Maintain RUN compliance documentation relative to supported services specific the backup Run environment.
Management and ownership of Disaster Recovery (DR) scenario''s for Windows/Unix servers, recovering from Backups (System State / Data
Plan and execute upgrades for enterprise storage and backup platforms coordinating with managed service provider, vendors, company leaders, IT staff, and business partners
Partner with vendors and internal teams to be the Technical Resource in Proof of Concept and production deployments
Perform routine maintenance on systems to ensure security compliance, perform external and internal audits and system health.
Design and review processes to identify gaps in design and/or execution of the environment solutions.
Create and present the planned changes in different change control boards and at the different level of the Leadership.
Interact with vendors where appropriate to work collaboratively on system upgrades or to resolve system issues.
May act as a mentor to less experienced colleagues
