JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Resource must have a minimum of 8-10 years of hands on Vertex with Oracle integration experience, preferably in the HiTech industry.
2. Looking for someone who is local to Baltimore Area ( Hanover, MD)
3. Who has excellent communication and hands on technical skills.
The following major processes are in scope of the project: Requirement Gathering, Analysis, Solution Design, tax calculation, compliance and reporting.
The individual will collaborate with other teams in all phases of the project including blueprinting, realization, cut over & go-live and hyper-care.
The individual will deploy Vertex, assist with setting up tax jurisdiction determination, provide extensive knowledge in tax determination, tax exemption management, customer and vendor tax maintenance, client specific user requirements analysis, mapping and rollout and Tax reporting in both US & Canada ( Other countries Like Malaysia, India) among other tax integration deliverables.
Finally the individual will provide hands on training to local IT as well as tax department.
