Job Description :
The selected candidate will:
Implement and maintain the physical database design
Create database objects (tables, indexes, etc
Write database procedures, functions and triggers
Assist developers with development database activities,
Perform database tuning and performance monitoring
Monitor application related jobs and data replication activities
Establish and maintain backup and recovery policies and procedures in the development environment
Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)

Citizenship and Clearance Requirements: US citizenship is not required. Applicant must have valid working authorization. Please note that our federal customer has a residency requirement for this position. All non-US Citizen candidates must have lived and worked in the US for the last 2 years, consecutively in order to pass the background investigation.

Required skills include:
At least 10 Years of experience in the following:
Database Design: Relational Database Management System along with Data Warehouse, and Data Mart
Data Modeling Tools: IDERA’s ER Studio
Oracle
Ability to analyze data sources
SQL and PL/SQL
MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Visio, etc
Excellent verbal communication skills
Excellent written communication skills
Java based technology Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) tools: Hibernate, iBATIS, and Java Persistence API (JPA) (optional)
Experience with PEGA Systems COTS to support Workflow, Case Management, and Rule’s Engine (optional)
Experience with customization of COTS to support Workflow, Content Management, and Rule’s Engine, (optional)
TOAD for MySQL and Oracle (optional)
