JOB DESCRIPTION:
Minimum 3 years of recent AbInitio development experience with expertise on handling generic graphs, plans. Building code compliant to produce data lineage. Fixing Dependency Analysis errors. Experience in optimizing Ab Initio code. Good Unix scripting skills and basic SQL knowledge.
Nice to Have: Hadoop knowledge. Working experience in Metadata-hub imports
We seek a senior individual performer developer with senior level large scale data integration skills focused on leveraging parallelism and very large files through Abinitio. In this primarily hands on role the selected individual will replatform from Unix to Hadoop environment; Reduce footprint; Replatform with optimization.
Responsible for handling generic graphs (parameterization); DDL related questions.
Experience with dependency analysis and data lineage.
Excellent Unix skills Unix and ETL
Experience with multi-file systems NFS knowledge process and how flows are partitioned and how optimized.
Understanding of Hadoop environment by size of file and knowledge of how data parallelism works.
Example: you have a 14 way file and debug in lower environment. Identify error that could arise and how to correct these.
