Job Description :

Minimum of 7 years as a capacity planner or performance tuning specialist for storage and backup techonologies.
Expertise working with multiple of the following: EMC Symmetrix/VMAX environment, EMC VNX, EMC VPLEX , EMC SRDF and Timefinder, Cisco SAN Switches, Brocade SAN Switches and virtual SAN environments
Broad knowledge of advanced environment monitoring & management tools, performance modeling tools, capacity analysis tools, and other advanced trending tools
Working, Operational and administrational knowledge of Backup technologies
Knowledge and experience in multipathing using EMC Power path
Expertise in Backup technologies - EMC Networker
Experience with EMC Storage Resource Management suite
Experience in replication methodologies for DR setup.
Experience in capacity planning, systems performance analysis and optimization in a distributed infrastructure including VMWare ESX
The ability to interpret report data and translate it into a business impact or strategic actions that need to occur
Strong technical problem-solving skills
