POSITION SUMMARY We are seeking an ambitious candidate to work in a
co-located team environment that can drive delivery of data driven
solutions for the Business Intelligence team. This position will focus on
interfacing with business users to understand business problems, and how to
solve them using data and BI tools. The successful candidate will be
expected to work with a product manager and business stakeholders to
effective write user stories/requirements that drive the development of
team deliverables. Also, this candidate should be strong in understanding
of data solutions, able to use sql to research data, and do light data
exploration in tools like tableau and excel.
*ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Work closely with product owners and business subject matter experts
to obtain an understanding of their functional requirements and needs by
planning/conducting business requirement sessions using interviews,
workshops, and/or existing systems documentation or procedures
- Perform data analysis using tools like excel and tableau
- Write user stories/requirements that drive the feature set of a
solution
- Identify and document test plans needed for acceptance of deliverables
from development team
- Have a willingness to learn and curiosity to solve business problems
- Prototype BI visualizations in tableau or deliver mockups of designs
using powerpoint/wireframing tool
- Collaborate with cross-team Functional Analysts to build knowledge
within the team
- Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership team
- Follow and champion all Sysco policies and procedures
*REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:*
- Bachelor''s degree required
- Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or
Analytics preferred
- 6 years in Business Intelligence / Analytics experience can be
substituted for education requirements
*CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:*
NA
*ABILITIES AND SKILLS:*
- Ability to use critical thinking skills to define business problems
and articulate solutions in written form
- Data exploration skills using advanced Excel or BI visualization tools
- Ability to write SQL code without a dependency on an intermediary,
guided interface (e.g., a drag and drop tool) and facility with data
manipulation in SQL
- Excellent written and oral communication skills relating to technical
and non-technical audiences
- Self-driven to help team members succeed and deliver relevant timely
products

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands and fingers to operate
a computer keyboard, mouse, and telephone to talk and hear. The employee is
frequently required to sit and reach with hands and arms. The employee must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
